Oppo has officially confirmed that the Find N5, anticipated to launch globally as the OnePlus Open 2, will debut in February 2025. Recent teasers highlight the device’s remarkably slim profile, suggesting it may become the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone.

In a video shared by Oppo’s product manager, Zhou Yibao, the device’s thickness is compared to everyday items: four Chinese ID cards, two 1 CNY coins, and 39 sticky notes. These comparisons indicate an approximate thickness of 4 mm when unfolded, potentially surpassing the Honor Magic V3’s 4.3 mm.
While the video offers insights into the device’s slim design, it doesn’t reveal the complete handset. However, leaks suggest that the OnePlus Open 2 will feature a triple-camera setup reminiscent of the OnePlus 13, with a slightly protruding camera island enhancing its sleek appearance.

Beyond its design, the OnePlus Open 2 is rumored to include a titanium frame for enhanced durability, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a nearly 6,000 mAh battery, wireless charging, and Hasselblad-engineered cameras with periscope optics
With its launch scheduled ahead of competitors like Samsung and Google, the OnePlus Open 2 aims to set new standards in the foldable smartphone market, combining cutting-edge design with high-end specifications.
